  19. Keyboard magazine called it "...the world's hippest mall organ".  It's the
  20. 61-key high-end version of Korg's interactive music workstation line and the
  21. quick-fix answer for jingle writers, song writers and Italian restaurant
  22. singles.  Play authentic full-blown professional arrangements of songs you've
  23. never heard (straight from your fake book) for that quick Ben Franklin
  24. tip...create standard midi files or backing sequences of Casey's top 20 in
  25. minutes...not hours!  This board has a full GM sound set in addition to 128
  26. full bandwidth Korg patches.  You can even create and store 64 of your own
  27. patches.  Can't find an on-board style that's right for your song?  You can
  28. create your own!

  30. Yes...you may find cheaper "interactive" keyboards...but you will never find
  31. one that sounds as good or is better implimented.  This one blows its
  32. successor (the ix300) completely out of the water but, you get what you pay
  33. for.  i-3 sounds are better, it has more patch and arrangement editing
  34. capability and it sports a nifty top-panel mixing board for real-time
  35. blending of different componants of the performances.

  37. Why am I selling?  I just bought one of the last of the i-2 (the 76-key
  38. version) boards ever made.  Korg has discontinued the line and the i-2 and 3
  39. boards are going to begin to become scarce...new ones already are (just check
  40. your local music store).

  42. Don't confuse this with the newer, lower-resolution Korg i-4, 4s, 5, 5s and
  43. 5m.  Those boards seem to have been made to compete with the home keyboard
  44. market and do not even begin to approach the high-quality sounds and
  45. performance implimentation of the i-1, 2 and 3.

  47. Do you work with a band and play single gigs?  Then this is definately the
  48. board for you!  I will be happy to ship (I have all of the original packaging
  49. materials) the keyboard, all manuals (there are 3, counting the addendum) and
  50. copies of all ten Korg style diskettes to the highest bidder.  DO NOT RESPOND
  51. TO THE LIST!!!!!  Please e-mail me directly at <Foxers@aol.com> with your
  52. highest bid over $1500.00 US.  This is one of the last of a discontinued
  53. breed.  I was able to pay for it in extra tips over a month because of
  54. unfamiliar (to me) tunes that I could perform on the spot at the happy hour
  55. gig I was working at the time.  It really does keep tip dollars from slipping
  56. away (provided you have the music or a great ear).
